Checking and Savings (Effective November 21, 2024)

  • Your interest rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time, at our discretion.
  • Interest begins to accrue on the business day that you make your deposit and will accrue until the day of withdrawal.
  • Interest will be compounded and credited to your account as follows:

    • Century Checking Plus & 55 Plus Checking – Interest compounded and credited monthly.
    • Money Market Plus – Interest compounded and credited monthly.
    • Statement Savings – Interest compounded and credited quarterly.
    • If you close your checking or savings account before interest is credited, you will receive the accrued interest.
  • We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day.
  • Fees may reduce the earnings on the account.

Certificates of Deposit

Certificates of Deposit (Effective November 21, 2024)

  • Interest can accumulate for compounding or be withdrawn by interest check or transferred to another account at Century as follows:

    • 91 day and 6 month certificates – interest at maturity or optional monthly check or transfer
    • 9 month to 60 month certificates – interest at maturity, quarterly, or optional monthly check or transfer
  • We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal each day.
  • Interest begins to accrue on the day of your deposit and will accrue until the day of withdrawal.
  • All certificates will automatically renew at maturity at the prevailing interest rate. You will have ten (10) calendar days after the maturity date to withdrawal funds without being charged a penalty.
  • After the certificate is opened, you may not make deposits or withdrawals other than earnings until the maturity date.
  • If the deposit is withdrawn before the maturity date, a penalty as shown below will be imposed which could result in partial loss of principal.
